opens new warehouse

Weesp, 2 October – Truvion Healthcare Logistics, specialists in the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical medicines, medical devices and self-care products, opened the doors to its new warehouse at Pampuslaan 186 in Weesp yesterday. In order to meet the growing demand in the market as well as to respond to developments within the international market, the family-run business has now opened a larger sustainable warehouse for its customers in the Benelux and beyond.

Expansion of storage space to facilitate international growth
The new Truvion Healthcare Logistics warehouse will play an important role in the ambitions for growth of the family business founded back in 1973 and is now run by the De Graaf family. The logistic company outgrew its storage capacity some time ago. The new location has more than doubled the capacity of Truvion Healthcare Logistics from 1200 pallets to 3000. This will also enable the company to take advantage of market opportunities created by Brexit. Up to now, Truvion Healthcare Logistics has been serving customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg but with the new site they will also be able to serve as the European hub for businesses from the UK, for example.

Truvion Healthcare Logistics specialises in both logistical wholesale and last-mile distribution for the healthcare industry. Like the existing site, the new temperature-controlled warehouse has a GDP licence and complies with the highest quality standards. With the capacity to store at various temperatures, including 2-8 C and -20 C, any pharmaceutical and medical product can be stored here. Truvion Healthcare Logistics can also take care of other services for customers such as order processing, invoicing and credit control: the whole so-called order-to-cash process. The new building is fitted with 400 solar panels, making it energy-neutral.
